My Story

Janelle, a Mediterranean and Caribbean Culinary Artist, infuses her vibrant dishes with bold flavors and multi-ethnic influences. With a Culinary Arts Degree from the Institute of Culinary Education, where she was classically trained in world cuisine with French techniques, and a B.S. in Health Science from Oakwood University, she blends nutrition with her culinary passion. With experience at Michelin-starred establishments like Eleven Madison Park as well as working with the James Beard Foundation and Olivier Chang Catering & Events working with elite clientele, she specializes in experimenting with rich, adventurous ingredients to craft artistic dishes. Her flavor profile is inspired by Mediterranean, Latin, Caribbean, and a plethora of others.

My Approach

Janelle’s infectious smile and soulful touch bring a sense of joy and ease to every home she enters. Rooted in her Haitian heritage and refined through years of culinary and wellness training, her personality is vibrant and wholesome. With a calm, grounded energy and a deep love for creating connection through food, she brings warmth, intention, and a quiet joy to everyone.

My Preferences

My favorite cuisines to prepare are ​Mediterranean, Latin-Caribbean, and American. My favorite dishes to prepare are Fluffy Goat Cheese Veggie Frittatas, Latin-Caribbean Inspired Jerk Jackfruit Carnitas Bowl, and Mediterranean Grilled Sea Bass with Lemon Herb Quinoa. I am available for meal prep from Monday-Friday after 3pm EST. For events, I am available Monday-Saturday after 3pm EST.
