What is the process to book a service?

Accepted Answer

It's an easy, 4-step process:

1. Choose Your Service - select a service category (e.g. Personal Chef, Personal Assistance) and then, choose a pricing package (e.g. Meal Prep, On-demand).
2. Provide Service Details - share more details of what you need and when and pay a small deposit to confirm your booking. Your deposit is fully refundable before your service starts.
3. Expert Matching - we will send you an email with a suggest expert match suited to your needs.
4. Connect and Confirm - once you confirm your expert match, we will connect you to have an intro call with them. From there, you can sit back and relax while they run your to-dos.

What are cancellation and reschedulling policies of a service or subscription?

Cancellation Policy

Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while respecting our experts' time and scheduling.

General Service Cancellation Policy (Applies to: Interior Design, Home Cleaning, Personal Styling, Personal Assistants & Housekeepers)

• 72+ hours before your service - Full refund of any service fees paid.
 • 24–72 hours before your service - No full charge, but you will be charged for any preparation work completed prior (e.g. plans developed, materials sourced).
 • Within 24 hours of your service - Full service fee is retained. No refund will be issued.

Rescheduling: If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, the full session fee for the blocked time will be charged.

Personal Chef Services - Events (Applies to: Personal Chef, Events only)

Due to the extensive preparation involved in event catering, this service has a stricter cancellation window.

• 72+ hours before your event — Full refund of any service fees paid.
 • Within 72 hours of your event — The full service fee is due and/or retained, regardless of the reason for cancellation or rescheduling.
Rescheduling: Any rescheduling requested within 72 hours of your event will also result in the full service fee being charged.

Subscription Cancellation Policy

• 72+ hours before your next charge - You will not be charged.
 • Within 72 hours of your next charge, or after your charge has processed - A partial refund will be issued, minus a 5% transaction fee.

To cancel or modify a service you may contact service@compozure.co (mailto:service@compozure.co)or speak to your expert directly who will then notify Compozure on your behalf.

 • "Cancel Subscription" — for subscription cancellations

Will my deposit be refunded if I cancel my service?

Accepted Answer

Once you book a service, we will email you to initiate the expert matching process. If you decide not to proceed after being matched with an expert, you will receive a full refund of your deposit.

What if I don't see the service I need listed?

Accepted Answer

Compozure will try to help you with whatever you need.

If you can't find what you are looking for, you can email our client services team at service@compozure.co (mailto:service@compozure.co)to ask whether we can complete the task you need.

Question 6

Is travel included in the price?

Accepted Answer

For our on-demand (hourly) services, travel is not included. We charge a travel fee for each service to cover our service providers travel costs.

For our subscription services, an expert's travel time is complementary provided you are based in a serviceable location.

*Note that we currently only conduct in-person services in and around New York City. Upon booking with us, it's open to our discretion whether we can service your area.

Is gratuity included in your service prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes, gratuity is included in all our service prices. However, if you feel your expert has provided exceptional service and you'd like to show additional appreciation, you're welcome to provide a tip.

You're welcome to send a tip or gratuity via Zelle or Venmo to service@compozure.co.(service@compozure.co) Please include your expert's name and indicate that it's a 'tip' or 'gratuity' in the note. We’ll ensure they receive the full amount.

Are taxes included?

Sales tax is added at the point of transaction.

Do you offer virtual services?

We offer virtual services across the USA.

The only services we can't provide virtually are personal cheffing and home cleaning.

If you want your service conducted virtually, please check the appropriate box at booking or when we email you to match you to an expert, please let us know.
