What is the process to book a service?

Accepted Answer

It's an easy process:

Choose Your Service - select a service category (e.g. Personal Chef, Personal Assistance) and then, choose a pricing package (On-demand or On-subscription).
Provide Service Details - share more details of what you need and when. Pay a small deposit to confirm your booking - your deposit is fully refundable before your service starts.
Expert Matching - we will send you an email matching you with an expert suited to your needs.
Connect - we will connect you and your matched expert for a 30-minute complimentary intro call.
Intro Call - meet your expert over Google Meet and get to know them. Tell them what you would like to delegate, your likes, your dislikes, your vision!
Begin - If it's a match, you can sit back and relax while your expert runs your to-dos and optimizes your lifestyle!

What is your expert vetting process?

Every professional in our network goes through a multi-stage screening process before joining our expert network. This includes an introductory interview, a live skills demonstration, and a minimum of three reference checks spanning both personal and professional contacts. We verify relevant training and credentials, assess professional and safety standards, and evaluate in-home professionalism as part of our review.

On an ongoing basis, we require all experts to maintain valid liability insurance, which we verify annually, along with any role-specific certifications or licenses their service area requires.

Beyond initial vetting, we believe a sustained track record of real client relationships and consistent feedback is one of the most meaningful indicators of an expert's quality - and something we monitor continuously.

Are there additional fees to your service prices?

We aim to be as transparent and upfront as possible when it comes to pricing.

For the most part, our prices are fully inclusive - particularly our subscription plans, which cover everything with no surprises. For on-demand services, there may be additional charges for expert travel time and expenses depending on your location and the nature of the service.

The only other potential costs are out-of-pocket expenses required to complete your service  such as groceries or supplies. Your expert should confirm these costs and obtain your approval before making any purchases.

All transaction fees are included in our prices. Please note that applicable sales tax will be added at the point of transaction for certain services.

What are cancellation and reschedulling policies of a service or subscription?

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is designed to provide flexibility while respecting our experts' time and scheduling.

Session Cancellation Policy Applies to: Meal Prep, Interior Design, Home Cleaning, Personal Styling, Personal Assistants & Housekeepers

72+ hours before a planned session — Full refund of any service fees paid.
24–72 hours before a planned session — No full charge, but you will be charged for any preparation work completed prior (e.g. plans developed, materials sourced).
Within 24 hours of a planned session — The full service fee is retained. No refund will be issued.

Rescheduling: Rescheduling is free of charge when requested 24 or more hours before your planned session. If you reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment, the full session fee for the blocked time will be charged.

Personal Chef, Event Services Applies to: Personal Chef Events only

Due to the extensive preparation involved in event catering, this service has a stricter cancellation window.

72+ hours before your event — Full refund of any service fees paid.
Within 72 hours of your event — The full service fee is due and/or retained, regardless of the reason for cancellation or rescheduling.

Rescheduling: Any rescheduling requested within 72 hours of your event will result in the full service fee being charged, plus any additional fees incurred for preparation work required for the rescheduled date.

Subscription Cancellation Policy

If you have an active subscription with a planned session or service, the session must be cancelled first in accordance with the applicable session cancellation policy above. Once the session has been addressed, your subscription cancellation can be processed.

72+ hours before your next charge - You will not be charged.
Within 72 hours of your next charge, or after your charge has processed - A partial refund will be issued, minus a 5% transaction fee.

How to Cancel or Reschedule

To cancel or modify a planned session or upcoming service, you may contact service@compozure.co or speak directly with your expert, who will notify Compozure on your behalf.

Question 6

Will my deposit be refunded if I do not proceed with the service after booking?

Accepted Answer

Yes - your deposit is fully refundable.

After booking, we'll email you to begin the expert matching process. If you decide not to move forward following your intro call, simply email service@compozure.co to request your refund.

Please note that refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of your booking date. Requests made after this window will not be eligible to receive a refund of your booking deposit.

What if I don't see the service I need listed?

Compozure will try to help you with whatever you need.

If you can't find what you are looking for, you can email our client services team at service@compozure.co to ask whether we can complete the task you need.

Question 8

Is travel included in the price?

Accepted Answer

For our on-demand (hourly) services, travel is not included. We charge a travel fee for each service to cover our service providers travel costs.

For our subscription services, an expert's travel time is complementary provided you are based in a serviceable location.

*Note that we currently only conduct in-person services in and around New York City. Upon booking with us, it's open to our discretion whether we can service your area.

Question 9

Is gratuity included in your service prices?

Accepted Answer

Yes, gratuity is included in all our service prices. However, if you feel your expert has provided exceptional service and you'd like to show additional appreciation, you're welcome to provide a tip.

You're welcome to send a tip or gratuity via Zelle or Venmo to service@compozure.co. Please include your expert's name and indicate that it's a 'tip' or 'gratuity' in the note. We’ll ensure they receive the full amount.

Are taxes included?

Applicable sales tax is added at the point of transaction.

Do you offer virtual services?

Accepted Answer

We offer virtual services across the USA.

The only services we can't provide virtually are personal cheffing and home cleaning.

If you want your service conducted virtually, please let us know in your booking form or via email once we confirm your booking.
