My Story

My passion for cooking started when I was 8 years old and my mother taught me how to make pancakes. I just fell in love with food and the memories that can be created around a family table. Since then my love for food continues to grow. My defining moments come from working in my first NYC restaurant as intern and from every promotion I received after. Each position taught me something, and rounded out my skills as chef. And now in the private industry my defining moments comes from the joy and help I may bring to my clients, and the memories created around the food I cook for them.

My Approach

To me hiring a private chef, is having someone cook for you, but also about taking away the stress and mundane chore of having to figure out what to eat everyday. So I approach each client with and a flexible and helping hand. I try to introduce them to different things, while also maintaining their comfort. Sometimes life is so busy, that food just becomes about sustenance. I want my clients to enjoy what they are eating and for food to be a positive experience in their life.

My Preferences

My interest in food means I'm always learning. So I'm open to cooking any cuisines requested of me. Lately I've been cooking a lot of Asian, Latin and Mediterranean cuisines, which I find fun and challenging. My first love comes from my family's Caribbean heritage. I'm available Monday- Friday for meal preps and events. I dont mind working with kids or dogs in the home, I just need a clean kitchen.
