My Story
Chef Chris’ specialty and expertise in Mediterranean culinary history began as a kid seeing the traditions of Italy from a first generation Italian family utilizing ingredients to keep dishes simple, fresh, delicious, elevated and comforting. Watching old PBS reruns of Julia Child and Jacques Pepin shows, he was obsessed with learning time-honored French techniques where it’s not what you cook with but HOW you cook it. Having moved to NYC to work as a music publicist, his yearning to cook professionally saw him do a career pivot when he attended the Institute of Culinary Education before diving head first into the restaurant world and then settling into the private chef market working and excelling in private in-home service strategies with a seasonal and sustainable approach to cooking.
My Approach
Chef Chris brings the nourishment and warmth to food that his Nonnas did at the large Sunday dinners he grew up on and puts that love into his food. He recently worked for a family with six kids for years and knows how to create meals the whole family will enjoy. He brings a proven communication aptitude with his principals for punctual and quality service, meal planning and menu development.

Specializing in in-home cooking, dinner parties, events, off-site premises. Available for meal prep Monday - Friday 9am EST onward and parties and events Monday - Saturday 8amEST onward.
